The Return Of The Soldier
Not a very glamorous part for A-M, but she probably jumped at the chance of playing against this superb cast, with British heavyweights Julie Christie, Glenda Jackson and Alan Bates. The drama is directed by Alan Bridges, and has A-M as the sister of a shell-shocked war veteran (Bates), who returns home with 15 years erased from his memory. He can't remember his wife (Christie), only his teenage sweetheart (Jackson).
